We are honoured to have collaborated with Margaret Haes Riding Centre in designing a compelling website that reflects their profound impact on the equestrian community. Margaret Haes’s visionary approach to horse riding, particularly for disabled individuals, has transformed countless lives. As pioneers of Riding for Disabled Centres, the roots of the national Riding for Disabled Association can be traced back to Margaret’s ground breaking work in the North West.
At Margaret Haes Riding Centre, their dedication to supporting vulnerable children and adults is unwavering. With over 160 riders attending each week, more than half of whom have disabilities, the centre provides a nurturing environment for those with mental health issues, physical disabilities, complex conditions, sensory impairments, depression, self-harm, special educational needs, and those who are lonely and isolated.
Riders of all ages, starting from 4 years old, are welcomed at the centre. Additionally, many individuals find fulfilment by volunteering their time. Recognizing the importance of physical activity, outdoor enjoyment, social interaction, and fun, the centre aims to promote overall well-being.
